Good Food: South Tyrolean specialities and Tyrolean farmer's breakfast

When you hear the sound of the cow bells, it's time to eat!

A farmer's breakfast is served fresh every morning in our 150-year old stube. We use only fresh regional products, because it is important for us to know where our food comes from.

We get our eggs from Farmer Mooswalder and milk from our neighbour Florian; bread and cereals from the Amhof organic bakery; honey from the producer, Galla; speck ham and smoked sausages from Teldra; seasonal vegetables from around the region; cheese from the Waldsamerhof; muesli from the mill of San Lorenzo; herbs from our vegetable garden; drinks and juices from around South Tyrol; and wine from the Kaltern winery, among other places. Sometimes Grandfather Reinhard goes fishing and brings us trout.
